Careful What You Wish For
The Instafilm assignment required me to create a short film using five shots and two inserts, with a duration of 30-45 seconds. This project allowed me to tap into my creativity through visual storytelling. My story revolves around a college student who wishes her fighting roommates would disappear—and, to her surprise, she might just get her wish. As I worked on this project, I connected it to my internship by practicing my communication skills with my roommates, who helped me produce the film. It was a similar experience to conducting interviews on campus and interacting with the student population, where clear communication and collaboration play roles in achieving a the media we produce.
