Today

Today I will conquer

Rising above, reaching for the stars.

The sink which stirs me conscious

I stir the dark liquid, implore courage 

Find solace in the routine 

Patting products to soothe what’s visible

What’s visible is soothing

Autonomy in dress 

One sock after the other

Life may sock me, but today

I will conquer,

Just to do it again
